Umstead Hotel
A campaign for a luxury boutique hotel.

The Umstead is a high-fashion, beautifully designed hotel with the largest private collection of artwork in North Carolina. So it seemed only natural to create a campaign of imagery using models wearing elegant clothing and incorporating some of their artwork as backdrops.
We also wanted to create imagery that was both playful as well as elegant - for while the Umstead is a luxury hotel, the last thing we wanted to communicate was that it was unapproachable and aloof. Besides which, I love balloons, and anytime I can work them into a visual, I'm there.
