The Maldives

Sexy Island, Maldives. Yes, believe it or not, this tiny island is called Sexy Island - even though in my humble opinion all the islands in the Maldives are sexy. It was a challenging place to shoot, as it was a long way from shore and it only exists as an island during low tide for a few hours. Otherwise it’s completely underwater. In fact, I might have shot this while sinking into the Indian Ocean. It was crazy but magical. Photographed for FCB Chicago, as part of an extensive travel campaign that had us shooting in The Maldives, Dubai and all over England.
