Amelia Island is a luxury Floridian beach destination with a sophisticated Southern accent. As a result, as part of this rebranding campaign, all the imagery had to communicate that. For example, in the tree image above, we photographed a fashionably-dressed woman having high tea while seated in a Live Oak - thus combining fashion and luxury in a classic Southern environment.

Golf, of course, is one of the big draws of Amelia Island. Their courses by the ocean are stunning. In the above image, we again tried to create an image that combined formal Southern charm - by our choice of wardrobe - with a reminder that this, indeed, is a magical beach destination.

A weeping willow, a beautiful southern dress and hat, and balloons. Elegant, Southern, magical. So Amelia Island.

I love the simple elegant feeling of this woman in a white dress with a white umbrella looking out over the blue ocean. I don’t know if the client ever used it, but it’s always been one of my favorite images from the campaign.

And of course we had to photograph an infinity pool. Couple that with palm trees, the ocean, and an elegant bathing suit and sun hat, and the image screams Amelia Island.

Although not part of the Amelia Island Tourism campaign, I just loved these small commercial fishing boats which we saw everywhere. So much so, I just had to document as many as I could, just for fun.
